You will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end data processing pipelines using AWS tools such as Athena, Lambda, S3, Glue, EMR, and more;
- Designing, developing, and maintaining databases based on Aurora and MySQL, including data modeling techniques for optimal performance;
- Programming in Python to implement advanced algorithms, conduct data analysis, and integrate with various AWS services;
- Creating, optimizing, and managing ETL/ELT data pipelines within the AWS cloud environment, leveraging tools like Glue, EMR, and Lambda;
- Collaborating closely with development teams and data analysts to formulate and implement effective data management strategies;
- Participating in the design and development process of new features and systems related to data engineering;
- Ensuring code quality through the implementation of unit and integration tests;
- Optimizing SQL queries and database performance to enhance overall system efficiency.
You need to have:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering;
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling techniques;
- Proficiency in MySQL and/or Aurora database management;
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, including services, resources, and performance monitoring;
- Ability to create and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines within a cloud environment;
- Experience integrating data from diverse sources into unified pipelines;
- Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD tools and workflows;
- Proficiency with version control tools, particularly Git;
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent communication in Polish and good command of English.
