Problem
The publisher has already established a baseline for their monetization actions. What they needed was a strategic partner to help scale these processes to the next level. The goal was to significantly increase overall revenue and to improve the baseline value of every ad impression across all formats without disrupting the User Experience. They needed a sustainable, long-term strategy rather than a short-term spike.
Approach
Although the publisher already had a monetization setup in place, several high-potential inventory opportunities remained underutilized. We began with a full audit of the existing ad stack, placement performance, and historical yield trends to identify gaps limiting revenue growth.
Based on these findings, we developed a scalable monetization framework focused on:
- prioritizing high-visibility placements,

- increasing competition across inventory,
- and continuously optimizing yield performance without negatively impacting User Experience.
Special attention was given to formats with strong engagement potential, particularly the Sticky Footer unit, which showed clear opportunities for higher monetization efficiency.

To achieve scalable growth, a multi-layered monetization strategy was deployed, focusing on continuous yield optimization and smarter demand strategies.
We focused on the holistic yield optimization achieved by applying a continuous optimization strategy across all existing ad formats to steadily increase the average eCPM from its baseline. After identifying the Sticky Footer as a high-potential format, we implemented targeted demand strategies to maximize its yield. Also, to build sustainable momentum for the publisher, we laid the right technological and strategic foundation to ensure revenue growth was consistent and scalable throughout the year, rather than a temporary boost.

Over the 12-month period of our collaboration, the publisher experienced exceptional improvements across all key monetization metrics. It improved performance and enabled a 119% year-over-year increase in overall revenue. The consistent, strategic optimization has led to strong, sustained growth, completely outpacing the previous year’s results and smoothly transitioning the publisher into consistent thousand-level revenue. Moreover, we achieved consistent month-over-month improvement in average eCPM across all ad formats by turning every impression into greater value. Between May 2025 and April 2026, the average eCPM across all formats grew from 0.12 USD to 0.35 USD.
Among individual formats, the Sticky Footer performed best. By optimizing this high-visibility unit, the publisher saw an exceptional return – from 0.17 USD at the beginning, to 0.77 USD at the most recent verification. This represents a massive 4.53x increase, demonstrating how focused optimization on key ad units can drive outsized yields.
